The West Allis-West Milwaukee School District is currently seeking a 7th Grade Math teacher at Frank Lloyd Wright Intermediate School. Candidates must have or be able to obtain a Wisconsin DPI-issued teaching license valid for Regular Education, grades 6 through 8, for the 2024-2025 school year.

  • Develop and implement engaging, standards-based math lessons tailored to the needs of 7th-grade students.
  • Assess and track student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation, collaboration, and critical thinking.
  • Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and colleagues regarding student progress and classroom activities.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers, instructional coaches, and administrators to align curriculum and ensure consistent academic support for students.
  • Manage classroom behavior using effective strategies to maintain a productive learning atmosphere.
  • Utilize technology and various resources to enhance the learning experience and engage students in problem-solving.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and best practices in math instruction.
  • Attend staff meetings, parent conferences, and other required school functions.
