VFS is currently seeking a Clinical Manager. This position provides operational management, clinical supervision and development of staff. This includes developing service lines integrating co-occurring disorders and other needs of the consumers serviced. The Clinical Manager provides direct supervision to the Clinical Supervisors (License Eligible Professionals) of each Division.
The Clinical Manager will Manage the following Programs:
Mental Health Skills-Building Services (MHSS)-provides adult supportive services, daily living skills training, medication management assistance, independent living skills, community service coordination, healthy relationship support establishing daily routine, budgeting assistance, social skills training, and coping skills training.
Intensive In-Home (IIH)- assists youth between ages 5-21 who are experiencing mental, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
Partial Hospitalization -Partial Hospitalization is a 14-30 day program of skilled treatment services for adults, delivering a minimum of five (5) service hours per day, four (4) times per week. 
Substance Use Intensive Outpatient Services (ASAM 2.1)- A structured program of skilled treatment services for adults, children and adolescents delivering a minimum of three (3) service hours per service day to achieve nine (9) to 19 hours of services per week for adults and six (6) to 19 hours of services per week for children and adolescents.
Substance Use Case Management-Substance use case management services assist members and their family members in accessing needed medical, psychiatric, psychological, social, educational, vocational, recovery, and other supports essential to meeting the member's basic needs.
Education Requirements:
Must be a LPC licensed by the Board of Counseling or a LCSW licensed by the Board of Social Work.
Master’s Degree in social work, psychology, human services, counseling, or substance abuse/addiction counseling.
Relevant experience for this position: Practical experience in providing direct services to consumers with diagnoses of mental health and substance use disorders. Experience providing targeted mental health and/or substance use therapy to groups, individuals and families is required.
Minimum of five (5) years of combined experience in community based mental health services, substance use programs and supervising staff. 
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Ability to read and follow Company Guideline Books
  • Ability to navigate Electronic Health Records System (EHRS), Microsoft Office Suite and Web Based Software
  • Manage and review clinical documentation to ensure compliance with company guidelines
  • Ability to generate and interpret company reports 
  • Meet weekly and supervise Clinical Supervisors in all divisions to provide guidance in regard to staffing, documentation, and relationship building within the community
  • Knowledge and understanding of ASAM criteria, DSM 5, ICD 10, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to rotate and work in and manage different clinical positions
  • Ability to effectively manage and motivate staff
  • Ability to maintain consumer charts and deadlines
  • Strong public speaking and organizational skills
  • Exercise good judgment and prioritization skills
  • Proficient with computers and standard office equipment
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with community partners
  • Build partnerships within the surrounding areas to ensure proper care coordination
  • Assist with marketing to ensure company census goals are met
  • Complete Comprehensive Needs Assessments, as well as annual reassessments for individuals in assigned Divisions (If needed)
  • Provide individual/group Therapy (Face to face & Telehealth) to individuals (If needed)
