The Medical Receptionist job duties include but are not limited to:
- Increase patient volume.
- Excellent patient service.
- Register patients.
- Verify insurances.
- Answer phones.
Requirements for the Medical Receptionist position include:
- Some weekend shifts are required as we are open 7 days a week for our patients.
- Required to travel to different locations within an hour radius for coverage in times of critical business demands or staffing needs (with $50 bonus) - we are located in Alton, Wood River, Granite City, Belleville, and Waterloo.
- Required to have a valid driver's license.
- Able to sit, walk, reach with hands and arms throughout the workday.
- Finger dexterity and hand coordination required.
- Occasionally required to lift moderate weight. (20-40 pounds)
- Specific vision abilities required including close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust or focus.
About Troy Urgent Care Walk-in Clinic:
We started with one doctor’s vision to provide care to patients on an immediate basis and after hours. We started with one location and over the course of several years, we have expanded to 26 locations nation wide. In addition we have over 10 board of director physicians, over 60 physician assistants and nurse practitioners, and a staff of over 150 nation wide.
