Our firm is seeking a demand writer to join our team Our ideal candidate has attention to detail. We are looking for someone who can edit and enhance their own work as well as collaborate with their team. Familiarity with Medical Terms and Billing is a plus. Understanding Medical Records/Billing retrieval procedures is a welcomed skill set.

Job Title: Personal Injury Demand Writer

Type of Position: Full-Time

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9 am-6 pm.

Responsibilities:
  • Review cases and create demand packages for insurance companies.
  • Reading and comprehending medical records and bills.
  • Providing a concise summary of case facts and creating persuasive arguments regarding liability
  • Excellent English grammar and writing skills; Spanish speaking is a plus.
  • Sort and read through medical records, insurance correspondence, and settlement releases on behalf of clients.
  • Summarize case facts and create persuasive arguments.

Qualifications:
  • Understanding of medical terminology.
  • Excellent English grammar and writing skills; Spanish speaking is a plus.
  • Must be organized with the ability to handle several tasks at once.
  • Experience in reviewing files, and medical records, writing demands, creating liability arguments, and explaining medical injuries.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
