Adjunct Instructor of Voice

Coahoma Community College invites qualified candidates to apply for a part-time position as Adjunct Instructor of Voice beginning Fall 2023-2024 academic year. 
Job Description/Responsibilities:

• The qualified candidate will:
• Teach applied/individual voice classes to freshmen and sophomore students.
• Prepares students for student recitals and final jury examinations at the end of each semester.
• Provides a quality learning experience for all students in accordance with their needs and abilities while maintaining the basic integrity of the course’s standards and objectives.
• State clear objectives and criteria in the course syllabus; maintain an accurate grade book and attendance record.

Qualifications:The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience, qualifications, and abilities including:

• Masters degree invoice.
• Strong teaching experience in classical and musical theatre.
• Music performance skills and pedagogy.

Preferred Experience:We prefer candidates that are able to show evidence of good accompaniment skills (but not a requirement).
