PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. is excited to announce a Direct Hire Opportunity for a Senior Repair Station Test Technician in Kirkland, WA Join Our Weekend Team and enjoy a 36-hour workweek while getting paid for 40 hoursShift: Friday to Sunday, 5:30 AM – 6:00 PM  Pay Rate: $26 to $38 per hour, depending on experience.   Are you passionate about troubleshooting electronic systems, PCB's and delving into PCB schematics  down to the component level? If you have a keen eye for detail and the ability to troubleshoot failures to discrete components, we invite you to consider joining our client's dynamic team. Position Overview:As a Repair Station Test Technician, you will play a pivotal role in the repair, testing, and modification of electronic systems and components. You'll be at the forefront of ensuring the functionality and reliability of power supplies and electronic systems for commercial, military, and business aerospace markets. Key Responsibilities:
  • Understanding of PCB schematics, circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic test equipment, and computer hardware and software.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers for troubleshooting, reworking, and conducting quality testing.
  • Assemble, hand solder, test, and troubleshoot complex systems with precision and expertise.
  • Utilize both standard and specialized test equipment for detailed analysis.
  • Uphold repairs to meticulous standards, paying careful attention to detail.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of repair processes and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate degree (AS) in Electronics Technology or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in electronic systems repair and testing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical/electronic principles.
  • Familiarity with circuit boards, processors, chips, and electronic test equipment.
