Our growing insurance company, Johns Agency LLC, is currently searching for a highly analytical Property-Casualty (P & C) insurance agent to join our team. Johns Agency LLC is a captive agency solely representing the Automobile Association of America, (AAA). AAA, commonly referred to as ‘Triple A’, has been a well-recognized 'membership' insurance brand since 1902. Many recognize their legendary ‘emergency roadside’ service. Triple A is also known for their member travel services, auto repairs & servicing, credit cards banking services, and member retail discounts. As a member your allowed to purchase our Home, Auto and Life/Annuity products. AAA does not do mult-million dollar ad buys to advertise its insurance offerings to the general public.
If you’re a talented and sales-minded professional with a passion for the insurance industry and looking to really work for success, then we’re interested in you. Your chief goal as our Insurance Agent will be to generate new business by contacting potential customers and building lasting relationships. What is attractive is that the Johns Agency makes your effort to find new business easier by providing you with ‘live transfer’ and ‘data leads’ purchased at our expense. In addition, we possess our member ‘book of business’ providing you with endless opportunities to pursue. This is not an opportunity for the faint-hearted, you must be driven to achieve and win.
Your work will include maintaining records on our data platform, developing payment methods, and following up with the members. In addition to having excellent communication skills, our ideal candidate will also demonstrate outstanding interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities:
- Calculate needed coverages and offer optional payment methods.
- Establish a collaborative relationship with prospective clients from various sources such as networking and member cold calling, and referrals.
- Recommend risk management strategies that fit clients' personal risk profiles.
- Complete administrative tasks including maintaining records and handling policy renewals and annual reviews with our members.
- Describe the advantages and disadvantages of different policies to promote the sale of insurance plans.
- Create and implement marketing strategies to compete with other individuals or insurance companies.
- Respond to clients’ insurance-related questions and issues.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 - 3 years’ experience in insurance sales.
- Georgia resident licensed.
- In-depth knowledge of the different types of insurance plans including vehicle, home, and Life business.
- Outstanding interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in computers and statistical analysis software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
