Energy Benchmarking

Ecom-Energy is a boutique energy consulting firm assisting commercial users in energy strategy, energy procurement, management, renewables, sustainability, etc. We desire humble and hungry people who want to continue learning in an industry that is rapidly evolving. We also rely on self-starters with an entrepreneurial mindset to take ownership and initiative for the betterment of our customers and the company. Our customers are requiring better data and insights to their utilities and emissions. We need someone who can oversee our software systems to support all company services.

Role will be based in Southern California. 

Duties include development, supervision, management, and guidance on: 

• Oversee and utilize our two software platforms to track all customer energy data
• Create customer facility profiles and understand customer campus utilities
• Oversee data from bill capture services, utility, customer, API
• IT experience a plus but not required in order to utilize API's, PowerBI, Tableau, if needed
• Analyze data and provide insight on trends, anomalies, areas for improvement, etc. 
• Support company services and the team with data requests as needed
• Manage compliance for all state and local benchmarking mandates 

We are generally remote workers but do meet in person regularly and as needed for projects.

Ecom-Energy is an objective energy consulting firm that helps commercial customers in the key areas of: energy benchmarking and compliance, energy procurement, energy strategy, sustainability and carbon management, EV charging, renewable energy and onsite generation, energy efficiency and technical services, and financial consulting. We are a small team of remote workers in the Yorba Linda/ Anaheim Hills area who work well together in advancing the goals of our customers. With the energy landscape evolving at such a quick pace, our customers are needing more attention so we are looking for the next key hire that can compliment our team and assist us in continuing to deliver excellence. We are not partnered with any vendor, nor do we sell any solution or technology - our goal is to sit on the customer's side and help them objectively evaluate energy solutions. We are growing as the needs of our customers grow and are looking for key hires to grow with us.
