Job DescriptionThe Roadside Truck Repair Service Manager is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the repairs of all customer's trucks and equipment. The primary focus of this role will revolve around the needs of the customers and scheduling service orders with technicians to ensure a good customer experience with our business.

The duties related to this position include but are not limited to the following:
  • Responsible for leading and assigning tasks to roadside mechanics and oversees service for roadside repairs.
  • Tracking repairs and their causes, scheduling technicians, preparing cost estimates, and maintaining accurate, timely updates for each customer's profile within our database. 
  • Service details and timelines are communicated with both the customer and the sales team in a timely fashion.
  • Maintaining logs of parts are needed, time allocated to complete repairs, and scheduling the appropriate technician for the job based on the customer and their repair needs. 
  • Manages parts inventory and technician schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize company costs.

Requirements:
  • Must possess a minimum of 2+ years of shop/ service writing with a strong knowledge base of heavy highway equipment.
  • Must have problem-solving skills and good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must possess strong management skills.

  • Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm.
  • Every other Saturday 8am to 12pm.
