Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Civil Technician II to join our Arizona team. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of telecommunications and civil work, with the ability to learn and grow in a dynamic environment. This role involves installing and maintaining civil sites, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring site safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Wire customer equipment both inside and outside of shelters.
  • Utilize the appropriate tools and materials to perform tasks according to specifications.
  • Learn and recognize the hazards associated with wiring equipment and using power tools.
  • Understand and adhere to site safety protocols and procedures.
  • Accurately follow methods of procedure (MOP) and complete assigned tasks.
  • Troubleshoot and communicate equipment performance issues effectively.
  • Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with employees and clients.
  • Be prepared for overnight travel as needed.
  • Work in adverse weather conditions, including heat, snow, rain, and wind.

Qualifications:
  • Some experience in telecommunications or civil work required.
  • Experience with trenching, digging, and concrete forming/pouring.
  • Knowledgeable in underground conduit installation.
  • Well-organized, self-starter with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to climb ladders, squat, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Current valid Driver’s License required; CDL is a plus.
  • Minimum age of 18.
  • Strong listening skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and background screening.
  • Local to the market.
