Ellis Machinery & Equipment, Inc. is a CNC Machine Tool Distributor and Service Leader in the Pacific Northwest with a reputation for dependability and quality. We represent some of the top CNC Machine Tool Builders in the world that make machines and machine tools for the aerospace, medical, and automotive industries just to name a few. Currently, we have a career opportunity for a Field Service Technician to join our team In this role, you would be the point person for any machine repairs, installation of new machines as well as preventative maintenance. This is a great opportunity for someone mechanically inclined, who enjoys working with their hands, and who likes being onsite with customers. You will be able to work both independently and as part of a team environment. If you enjoy working with machinery and solving problems, this could be the perfect job for you 
Qualified applicants should know/experience in:
  • Reading and Understanding Electrical Diagrams & Schematics.
  • Control Systems (specific experience with Fanuc and Siemens will be of value).
  • Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic Systems.

Duties include:
  • Troubleshoot and perform maintenance and repairs on CNC Machinery.
  • Install new CNC Machinery.
  • Travel daily to customers' locations here in Oregon and Washington, primarily the I5 corridor.
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance.
  • Maintain positive and effective interaction with customers and peers.
  • Adhere to company and industry safety standards.

Qualifications also include:
  • Must have a clean driving record and a valid drivers license.
  • Must have a US Passport
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to safely lift to 50lbs.
