Beacon Technologies is seeking a Functional Business Analyst (NetSkope) for our client partner. This role will be working with the project and program manager on the Netskope for Servers project in the Global Cyber Security portfolio in which people, processes, and technologies are impacted. Primary Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for emailing approved communication templates provided by the project manager to each Application Owner from a regional shared mailbox.
  • Responsible for collecting NetSkope Questionnaire Responses from App Teams in the shared project trackers provided by the technical lead and project manager.
  • Responsible for sending application team-friendly reminders of upcoming changes if the change is scheduled for weeks out.
  • Responsible for collaborating with Release Management to identify PIV Testers.
  • Responsible for setting up MS Team Support Channels with all necessary stakeholders.
  • Responsible for maintaining a regional issue tracker.
  • Must collaborate with the Technical Business Analyst to ensure Jira cards are prepped and changes are raised in accordance with Change Management timelines.
  • Foster a partnered approach, building and maintaining strong productive working relationships with internal stakeholders aligning service delivery with business needs.
  • Assess, document, and communicate the impact of changes to key stakeholders and the business.
  • Ability to field questions from the stakeholders of all levels regarding any outcomes of what we are implementing.
  • Ability to work with the key stakeholders, business, and IT post-implementation to resolve issues.
  • Facilitate meetings supporting all phases of assigned projects, using appropriate tools and technology according to meeting objectives and attendees.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and reconciliation within reports and dashboards by reviewing, identifying, and resolving gaps and inconsistencies.
  • Gather requirements, provide expertise and guidance, and execute plans to enhance business capability, achieve results, and support the global cyber security organization.
  • Support coordination and communications to implement solutions to end-users by utilizing a disciplined and systematic approach to ensure a thorough understanding of user requirements, user experience, and development and availability of relevant and accurate process documentation.
  • Identify and eliminate risks to complex change implementation by planning user acceptance testing, clarifying, and ensuring developers understand requirements, coordinating users, executing tests, monitoring test completion, escalating defects/issues, and soliciting feedback to support accurate testing and alignment with desired outcomes.
  • Partner with the program team to implement plans, work closely with stakeholders and system teams to identify requirements, analyze gaps between current and future states, and recommend solutions.
  • Assess and document requirements, review needs, analyze findings, escalate questions, and clarify issues to create and communicate needs to the development team.

Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Experience: 5 years relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience collaborating with technical team members, business analysts, and project/program managers to ensure a quality solution is delivered.
  • Evidence of successful participation in the delivery of complex programs.
  • Effective collaboration, communication, and strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Impact analysis and strong problem-solving skills when gathering and assessing business needs to overcome potential obstacles and challenges.
  • Facilitate meetings supporting all phases of assigned projects, using appropriate tools and technology according to meeting objectives and attendees.
  • Self-motivated, assertive, and detail-oriented, high degree of organization skills, and the ability to appropriately prioritize assigned tasks to ensure timely goal achievement.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with software including Jira, Confluence, Microsoft O365, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Evidence of successful participation in the delivery of the complex program.

  • Working knowledge of cyber security projects and programs and the appropriate milestones.

  • Foresee potential obstacles and challenges, identifying root causes and recommending plans to address them.
  • Share knowledge and educate others.
