Spring Mill Country Club is seeking a Part-Time Banquet Chef to join our team.  Our restaurant, Judd’s and Jackson’s, is open to the public, as well as our Banquet Halls. Our restaurant offers a casual, family-friendly atmosphere and a wide range of New American specialties and favorites to satisfy various tastes. Banquet events range from birthday parties to baby showers, to weddings and more.
Banquet Chef Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and ensure that standard kitchen operating procedures are met
  • Order all food and supplies for Banquets
  • Support and manage prep for service; ensure all prep items and recipes are made to the standard
  • Manage prep and execution of a Banquet Event Order for private functions
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
  • Execute all menu items for each event
  • Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
  • Ensure food is prepared and presented in a timely manner
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Skills:
  • Candidate must have 4-7 years experience in the culinary, food and beverage industry 
  • Previous experience as a cook or chef in a banquet or catering setting
  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques and culinary trends
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexible schedule with availability including evenings and weekends and Holidays
  • Up to date/ current food safety certification (ServSafe®)
