HR Generalist Consutlant

We seek a dynamic professional who is passionate about supporting teams by providing experienced guidance and outstanding service to managers and employees.
The ideal consultant must be available to clients throughout the typical working day, 15-20 hours per week, highly responsive to emails and calls, and available for occasional meetings. The pay for this role will be $23-28/hour.
Experience with the following:
- Demonstrated understanding and comprehension of current employment laws.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve.
- Create and facilitate onboarding procedures for new employees.
- Create and facilitate offboarding procedures for employees exiting an organization, such as creating and following checklists, conducting exit interviews, etc…
- Conduct stay-interviews
- Update policies and ensure company HR policies and procedures compliance
- Process benefits enrollments
- Create and distribute company newsletters
- Stay abreast of changing trends in workplace culture
- Highly proactive in completing needed tasks and reaching out to employees and managers
- Ability to collaborate with individuals and with teams
- Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR-related issues
- Lead and administer performance management
- Create individual and group training and development plans
- Ability to counsel managers and employees through a myriad of situations.
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience
- 2-4 years of Human Resources experience, minimum.
- Availability 5 days a week, during working hours, totaling 15 hours per week, to start.
- Multi-state experience is required.
- In-depth knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including headcount management, employee relations, employee engagement, inclusion and diversity, performance management, coaching and development, and employment laws.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to organize and analyze data, understand trends, and develop action recommendations based on the analysis.
- Exceptional communication skills across all levels of the organization.
- HR Certifications: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, and/or SPHR preferred.
