POSITION PROFILEThe Delivery Driver Trainee will receive training to be able to achieve efficient and quality pick up, relocation, delivery, installation and networking of office equipment in a safe manner. The Trainee will be responsible for successful completion of the Delivery Driver Trainee program including proficiency in equipment, technology, productivity and safety standards, including but not limited to:
  • Completion of assigned Pro Tread Courses
  • Meet driving standards including successful completion of Smith System Training, road test and safety compliance (i.e. hard brakes, accidents, driving violations, etc.)
  • Display proficiency in phone usage (mobilelink, FMHH, DOT logs, Toner App, GPS)
  • Display excellent customer interaction skills (pre-call, training on new device, networking, internal/external customers
  • Accurately complete pre/post trip inspections
  • Successful completion of driver install program/training
  • Loading and strapping proficiency
  • Safety program involvement
  • Proficiency in use of delivery equipment (i.e. stairclimber, dolly, pallet jack, etc.)
