We are seeking a dedicated Receiving Associate to join our warehouse team in Tamarac, FL. As a Receiving Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution center by efficiently receiving, organizing, and managing incoming shipments of goods, supplies, and merchandise.

  • Shift Schedule (Mon-Fri) 12:00 PM-8:30 PM
  • Training from 10:00 AM-6:30 PM for the first week

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Receive Shipments:
  • Be ready to receive and process incoming shipments promptly and accurately.
  • Handle heavy lifting, including boxes weighing at least 50 pounds.

Organize Inventory:
  • Maintain meticulous records of every item received.
  • Organize and store received items in their designated locations within the warehouse.

Communicate with the purchasing Team:
  • Collaborate with management to address any issues or discrepancies in received shipments.

Utilize Technology:
  • Operate RF scan guns to scan barcodes and manage inventory in our warehouse system.

Operate Heavy Machinery:
  • Utilize equipment like Cherry Pickers, Pallet jacks, and carts to move items around the warehouse as needed.

Inventory Management Software:
  • Be proficient in using inventory management software to track and manage inventory effectively.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a receiving role is a MUST
  • Familiarity with RF scanning technology and WMS systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of inventory management is beneficial.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Work independently and safely.
  • Stamina to stand, bend, kneel, lift, and climb ladders throughout your shift.
  • Willingness to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
  • Strong attention to accuracy and punctuality.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Proactive in identifying process improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment.
  • Willingness to perform various warehouse duties, including pulling, packing, kneeling, climbing, unloading, and loading.
