Rochester’s Cornerstone Group is seeking to hire a 

Full-Time Cleaner/Light Maintenance Technician

In the Rochester Region for our newest property, Marketplace Senior Apartments

$18- $22/hour based on experience

As the second person to the maintenance team, you will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:
  • Taking accountability for the overall outstanding cleanliness and daily upkeep of all aspects, inside and out, of the property. 
  • Understand how to clean properly and thoroughly.
  • Take pride in your craft
  • Take initiative
  • Perform snow removal and groundskeeping as needed.
  • Assist with maintenance, service requests, and repairs.
  • Document daily cleaning and maintenance activity including problems encountered, work completed and vacancy status updates.
  • Perform, monitor, inspect, and conduct evaluations necessary to prepare apartments for move in of future tenants.
  • Inspect the property daily and maintain proper cleanliness and curb appeal.
  • Work and communicate professionally, cooperatively, ethically and respectfully with all staff and residents at all times.

Essential Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior relevant experience related to building cleaning, outside grounds, and light maintenance.
  • Prior experience working in property management a plus
  • Must have reliable transportation and the ability to participate in on-call rotations (time and 1/2 plus mileage).
  • Use of personal cell phone required (reimbursement included).

Owned by Marketplace Senior Housing LLC, and professionally managed by Cornerstone Property Managers, LLC, our community is operated under the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Program (LIHTC), within Section 42 of the Internal Revenue Code. This program is designated to facilitate the housing needs of moderate to low-income seniors aged 55+. Applicants with Section 8 travel vouchers or certificates may apply for residency. Additionally, there are 55 Section 8 Project Based vouchers from Rochester Housing Authority and 20 Section 8 Project Based vouchers from Fairport Urban Renewal Agency. Residency in all the apartments at Marketplace Senior Apartments is limited to those households having moderate to low incomes.
