Bode is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee multiple properties in the West Seattle, UW and Cap Hill areas. We are seeking a sharp, creative employee with strong social skills, and organization skills that will connect with residents.

A minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience is required. Familiarity with Appfolio and ordering through HD Supply is a plus  We are a small company that values our employees and wants someone who will work hard for us. The Maintenance team plays a big role in the success of each of our communities. They are excellent at getting the repairs done no matter how big or small. They can assess the work to be done in a make-ready unit or handle a work order with ease. Maintenance has a sharp eye for details and knows how to be proactive when handling preventative work. 

They can interact with residents’ requests and are involved in providing excellent service to each resident. Each day is different, offering the ability to prioritize tasks, be creative and use the initiative to problem solve. Each resident’s needs are different, and our maintenance superstars are there to make every member of our community feel appreciated. With Bode, our Maintenance Technicians are the backbone of our company. The community that you will be handling, relies on your attention to detail and your ability to get the items handled.

Our ideal candidates:
  • Strong knowledge of all-around maintenance in the property management field.
  • Our supervisors should be proficient in working with computers, databases and calendar management.
  • Highly organized to handle work at a fast pace, efficiently with good follow-through.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple items at once.
  • Be proactive in handling anything that comes your way, especially when it comes to emergencies and after-hour calls.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation(Required).
  • Supervisors should have at least 2-3 years experience and have supervised a staff of 2-3 employees.
  • Proficient in speaking, reading and writing in English.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills are essential as a leader and mentor to your team.
  • Proficient computer skills (MS Office, Google Apps, property management-related software, email, internet).

Job Type: Full-time.Salary: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour.

Supplemental pay types:

Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Seattle, WA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred).
  • Must have a vehicle and valid insurance.

Education:
  • High school or equivalent (Preferred).

Experience:
  • Property maintenance: 2 years (Preferred).
  • Supervisor: 1 year (Preferred).

License/Certification:
  • Driver's License.

Work Location: On the road (multi-site)
