Full Charge Bookkeeper

Responsibilities:
- Maintain Financial Records: Accurately manage and update financial records for multiple clients.
- Prepare Financial Statements: Generate and analyze balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Reconcile General Ledger: Perform regular reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Manage Accounts Receivable: Handle invoicing, payment processing, and collections efficiently.
- Journal Entries: Prepare and record journal entries, ensuring proper documentation and accuracy.
- Conduct Bank Reconciliations: Ensure correct recording of transactions through regular bank reconciliations.
- Assist with Tax Preparation: Support tax preparation and compliance activities, including documentation and filing.
- Support Audits: Prepare necessary documentation and respond to inquiries during audit processes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a similar role.
- Software Proficiency: Experience using QuickBooks Online and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, practices, and technical skills, including journal entries and financial statement analysis.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Organizational Skills: Capable of independently managing projects, organizing tasks, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Language Skills: Spanish-speaking ability preferred.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Familiarity with governmental accounting regulations is a plus.
- Ability to handle fast-paced environments and adapt to changing priorities.
