THIS IS NOT AN HOURLY OR SALARY CAREER, BUT RATHER A LUCRATIVE ON-CALL SIDE-HUSTLE FOR SEASONED PROS

 There is no sole location as the listing implies, it's a requirement to post the addess of a central location for all on-call positions.

Ideally you have 5+ years of experience in an IT support-related position and have the following skills:
  • Experience as a senior desktop support technician or field technician
  • Experience with Mac OS X and Windows 11
  • Experience in resolving virus and malware issues
  • Experience rebuilding/re-imaging computers and transferring/saving user profiles and data
  • Intermediate networking skills and being able to troubleshoot network connectivity problems
  • Experience supporting firewalls, routers, switches, and Wi-Fi access points

Other requirements:
  • Car - this is a field tech position and will require you to visit clients in the TRI-COUNTY Charleston, SC area
  • Dependability, promptness, and clear written communication required at all times
  • Professional attitude and appearance required.
  • Availability during weekday business hours from 8AM to 7PM weekends and holidays as needed.
  • A passion for technology and customer service skills

What We're Looking For:

Qualifications:
  • Experience with latest versions of Windows and Mac is a priority, also with Android and iOS
  • Linux and experience with Point of Sale equipment a plus
  • Must have Expert working knowledge of system utilities for all computers, malware protection, and removal, trans-OS synchronicity
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs
  • Must have a reliable car and mobile phone (no compensation for cell phone, but a gas allowance is included)
  • Malware removal, data recovery, pickup/delivery of computers, hardware repairs, server experience, upgrades, remote support, security program sales (equals commissions) diagnostics and troubleshooting Mac/Windows-based PC computers, networks (wired and Wi-Fi) mobiles, tablets, GPS, Smart TVs, IoT (Internet of Things) Smart Home, smart TV, Sonos, bluetooth, phones, account sync, instructing others.
  • MUST HAVE FIELD EXPERIENCE AND HAVE OWN MATERIALS

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour, Depends on Experience. The more skilled and responsible you are, the faster your rate STARTS or INCREASES
