Position Overview:

The HVAC technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, adjusting, and repairing HVAC systems at customers' homes. The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating principles. They will oversee air quality systems from installation to end-of-life, performing maintenance, warranty, and emergency repairs.
Responsibilities:
  • Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems with precision and efficiency.
  • Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements as necessary.
  • Execute routine preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems.
  • Drive to and from customer locations to provide service, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, troubleshooting and resolving issues effectively.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety policies and procedures to maintain a secure working environment.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of one year of experience as an HVAC service technician, demonstrating proficiency in the field.
  • Residence near the Trenton/Hamilton area for efficient service delivery.
  • Ability to handle physical workload, including lifting and maneuvering equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to diagnose and address technical issues.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Working knowledge of boiler systems to complement HVAC expertise.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in reading schematics and work plans to execute tasks accurately.
