Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure product and process quality.
- Conduct regular tests and inspections of materials, products, and processes to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Analyze quality data and provide reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain quality documentation, including inspection plans, test procedures, and quality manuals.
- Train and mentor production staff on quality standards and best practices.
- Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Manage non-conforming materials and ensure appropriate disposition and corrective actions.
- Utilize statistical methods and quality tools to monitor and improve processes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a quality assurance or quality control role within a manufacturing environment.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies.
- Proficiency in using quality tools and statistical analysis software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze data and generate detailed reports.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certifications: Possession of relevant certifications in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001) is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications related to quality management, such as Six Sigma Green/Black Belt or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA).
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience in conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
