Come join the team at G & S Electric in Shreveport, Louisiana. We are looking for a Generator Technician to conduct service and maintenance to generators in the surrounding area.
G & S Electric is well known in the community for our quality electric repair work and exceptional customer service. Home and business owners trust us to complete electrical project for a price that won't break the bank.
What you’ll do:
  • Service and repair generators: change air filters, change oil, check battery levels, spark plugs, etc.
  • Perform on-site planned maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and troubleshooting for customers generators (includes DC & AC Voltage equipment).
  • Work independently or with a small team and company vehicle servicing residential and commercial standby generators.
  • Involves multiple appointments per day with service calls, repairs, and preventative maintenance.

What you’ll bring:
  • 3+ years of experience in a mechanical setting working on automobiles, small engines, or generators.
  • Electrical background is a plus, but not required.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical documents and service manual.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and work outside.
  • Excellent customer service, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
