Job Title: Spa Director
Salary: $75K + Commission
Location: Elgin, IL area
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee all aspects of spa operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional services in massage, skincare, facials, and waxing.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance service offerings, increase client satisfaction, and drive revenue growth.
  • Manage and mentor a team of spa professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Maintain the highest standards of service quality and client care, ensuring consistency across all treatments.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional strategies and increase client acquisition and retention.
  • Oversee budget management, inventory control, and vendor relationships for optimal resource utilization.
  • Innovate and integrate new spa treatments and services, staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the spa or wellness industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in massage therapy, skincare, facials, and waxing.
  • Proven track record of successful team management and operational efficiency in a luxury spa setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client service excellence.

Preferred Skills:
  • Certification as a Spa Director / Manager or equivalent professional qualifications.
  • Membership in professional associations, such as the International Spa Association (ISPA) or the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA).
  • Experience with innovative spa technologies and holistic wellness practices.
