Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant, Python
In this role, you will be responsible for coding, testing and delivering high quality deliverables, and should be willing to learn new technologies.
Responsibilities- Experience in AWS Cloud preferably certified Developer or Solution Architect
- Work on AWS cloud to build highly scalable micro-services using serverless technologies like Lambda, SNS, SQS, Step Functions, Kinesis
- Collaborate closely with Analytics and Portfolio Managers to understand and address their technical needs.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications and systems.
- Lead and manage end-to-end product delivery, ensuring high-quality and timely releases.
- Work with offshore teams, providing guidance and ensuring alignment with project goals.
- BE/B Tech/MCA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Hands-on experience with distributed and data-intensive applications
- Proficiency in building dynamic and static reports using Python
- Strong understanding of building RESTful APIs with Python
- Familiarity with Python code/design practices and best practices
- Exposure to AWS (preferably AWS Certified Architect)
- Experience with Snowflake and relational databases such as Oracle and Postgres
- Familiarity with working on both Linux and Windows environments
- Understanding of distributed systems and their challenges
- Experience with GitLab/GitHub and understanding of CI/CD best practices
- Proficiency in building and managing deployment pipelines
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with onsite clients
- Experience in working with Asset Management firms or Investment Banks is highly desirable
- Ability to manage and coordinate with offshore teams
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar certification
- Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in asset management
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively
The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is $60,000 to $75,000. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity.
