The Opportunity
The VP of Lifestyle Commercial will grow their career within Hyatt’s newly launched lifestyle division, driving guest and customer performance for exciting lifestyle brands. Reporting to the SVP of Commercial Services, Americas, the VP partners with Operations to deliver hotel P&Ls and interacts with senior leaders across various departments. The Role

This NYC-based position will support the President & Creative Director, and two Managing Directors for the Hyatt Collective. Responsibilities include:

  • Developing the annual Commercial Budget and Marketing/Sales plans.
  • Working with hotel leadership teams to understand performance and identify gaps.
  • Participating in Monthly and Quarterly Commercial results presentations.
  • Managing regional leaders and mentoring them.
  • Coordinating with corporate commercial structure for support.
  • Providing input on Commercial projections for new builds and renovations.
  • Accountable for hiring, motivating, and leading the Commercial team members.
  • Delivering Commercial results for all hotels in the Lifestyle portfolio.
  • Developing and maintaining Owner relations.
  • Leading the Commercial presentations at Owner meetings.
  • Overseeing delivery against key commercial KPIs.

Qualifications

Experience Required:

  • 7-10 years of industry experience, with at least 5 years in sales or revenue management.
  • Superb oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience leading communications with various stakeholders.
  • Excellent knowledge in Sales, Marketing, Revenue management, and budgeting.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Recognized as an energetic leader with proven success in hotel commercial roles.
  • Experience managing multi-property models.

Experience Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience supporting hotels within the lifestyle segment.
