Atlantic Bridge & Engineering, Inc. (ABE) is a mid-sized steel fabricator & union erector with headquarters in Hampton, NH, and fabrication facilities in Candia, NH and Rochester, NH. Their clients are general contractors throughout New England & New York state. ABE is seeking a motivated, organized, and enthusiastic self-starter to join the project management team as a Project Manager. This individual must have high attention to detail, be able to handle a large volume of work, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.  

 

The Project Manager’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  

  • Overseeing the successful execution of structural steel projects from inception to completion 
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards 
  • Project Planning and Coordination 
  • Budget and Cost Control 
  • Team Leadership 
  • Quality Assurance and Risk Management 
  • Documentation and Reporting 
  • Safety Compliance 
  • Bringing exceptional leadership skills and a track record of driving for and achieving results, as well as building overall organizational capability all while holding themselves accountable for delivering results on a consistent basis 
  • Understanding job financial reports and applying these to job management 
  • Review shop drawings 
  • Assist with Steel Erection Engineering 

A successful candidate will have: 

  • Excellent Communication Skills and Problem-Solving Abilities 
  • Strong organizational skills 
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely with people at all levels of the organization 
  • Experience reviewing blueprints & construction drawings 
  • 5+ years of industry experience in project management or engineering 

Experience or Proficiency in the following is a plus: 

  • Structural steel / misc. metals 
  • Bluebeam Revu 
  • Tekla
