Marketing Associate

Our Client, a Software company, is looking for a Marketing Associate for their San Francisco, CA/Remote location.

Responsibilities:

  1. Community supports Marketing (brand awareness and customer stories), Customer Success (customer enablement and engagement) and Product.
  2. Our team’s charter is to source client advocates within our customer and partner accounts, who can create educational content, nurture others and become trusted client experts.
  3. Showcase the community as a key resource for customers to learn and deploy integrations faster across campaigns, social media, etc.
  4. Monitor our social media pages (especially LinkedIn), create new posts (themes will be given, contractor will have to write copy and create visual assets using Canva), help with data reporting on various programs, and upload data to our CRM.
  5. Schedule virtual events (themes will be given, as well as a list of contacts to sync with and agree on a date/time).
  6. Write event descriptions, publish events on the event platform, and monitor registrations, communications, and reminders.
  7. Community enablement: schedule ~1 enablement session per month for our community members: align with stakeholders on dates, speakers, and publish on our event platform.
  8. Support the promotion for these events, share attendance reports, and publish assets in our content repository afterwards.
  9. Social media management: write and schedule educational posts for the client Community social profiles, create basic graphic assets on Canva, analyze and share social performance monthly.
  10. High-level community data management and reporting: leveraging our new community platform (Common Room), support the team with data uploads and reports, and analyze insights from Common Room.

Requirements:
  • Must have skills: copywriting, planning, stakeholder management, critical thinking.
  • Teachable skills: Canva design platform, LinkedIn page management, Bevy event platform.
  • 3-5 years of Marketing experience running campaigns and events.
  • Good knowledge of LinkedIn and Canva.
  • Familiar with typical data reports: event attendance, social metrics.
  • Must be well organized, analytical, and have good writing skills.
  • We are a small team of 3, so we need someone who can be autonomous quickly; hence, critical thinking is very important to us. Ideally, someone who was in a social media management role before.
  • Creative, well organized, with good copywriting skills.
