VP of Finance | Nashville, TN
We're partnering with a rapidly growing real estate and property management organization to identify an experienced Vice President of Finance. This executive will lead the company's finance and accounting function, partnering closely with senior leadership to drive strategy, improve financial performance, and support continued growth across a multi-property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic financial leadership across accounting, FP&A, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Oversee month-end and year-end close, corporate and property-level accounting, and GAAP-compliant financial statements.
- Develop financial models, cash flow forecasts, and capital planning to support business initiatives and portfolio growth.
- Partner with operations and executive leadership to analyze property performance, profitability, and investment opportunities.
- Lead finance transformation initiatives, including process improvements, system implementations, and automation.
- Manage and develop a high-performing accounting and finance team while strengthening internal controls and reporting processes.
- Support acquisitions, due diligence, investor reporting, and long-term strategic planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA or CPA is a plus).
- 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience within real estate, multifamily, or property management.
- Strong background in FP&A, corporate accounting, financial modeling, and multi-site operations.
- Experience with ERP and property management accounting systems; Sage Intacct experience is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to influence executive leadership, drive operational improvements, and build scalable finance organizations.
