Job SummaryThe Solution Architect is responsible for the design of technology solutions in support of core business functions by evaluating end user needs, business goals, budgets and existing applications to define system requirements and technical standards.This position delivers:effective communication of IT activities, processes and solutions within the IT departmentsolution architecture for IT projects, ensuring project delivery exceeds customer needs and expectationsstrategic thought leadership which drives IT & Business adoption and usage of technology resulting in increased benefit realization, value creation, and the achievement of ROI.Job ResponsibilitiesPrimary Responsibilities are:Responsible for developing solution architecture framework to support product solutions for core business functions, ensuring alignment with other products as well as in alignment with overall IT enterprise architecture standards and practices.Provide leadership, oversight and guidance on application design and development, serving as an expert on technical capabilities. Provide vision; define system and application architecture, problem anticipation and problem solving ability across the landscape.Design, document and maintain system processes, report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to product team. Establish a deep understanding of our customers business and technical needs and communicating key insights and findings to product team.Provide deep software/hardware technical architecture expertise to ensure proper solution design.Align and support with strategic direction of broader IT organization. Provide strategic vision/plans/roadmap to stay current with vendor products, promote innovation and product enhancements that improves customer experience and simplifies the current application landscape.Develop an understanding of our existing IT infrastructure while actively searching for improvement areasResponsible for establishing strong partnerships with vendors and setting clear expectations. This includes negotiating agreements, establishing service level agreements, and ensuring contracts are in place to support the product needs.Facilitate and coordinate external benchmarking/best practice efforts and relationships with other business organizationsProvide specific contributions as directed by Product LeaderAvailable for after hour calls/incidents and troubleshooting

Job Specific QualificationsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related technical fieldA minimum of 4 years relevant experience within the information technology field or an industry with reliance on technical expertise.Must possess demonstrated leadership skillsAbility to manage multiple medium sized projects ensuring solutions align with enterprise architectureMinimum 4 years solution architecture experience with proven experience designing solutions for core business functionsMinimum 4 years of experience with designing software & hardware solutions used in large enterprises including Customer CRM(i.e Salesforce), Customer Billing and payment applications, Analytics/Big Data, Cloud, SaaS, PaaS and IaaS solutionsProven experience with aligning project solutions to overall corporate enterprise architectureWork and communicate with a wide range of people

peers, vendors, staff members, broader functional and business leadership, and others. Consistently demonstrate professional, positive, and approachable attitude, demeanor and discretionAbility to proactively communicate technical topics in a clear, succinct, and relevant way.Demonstrated ability to perform assigned work proficiently.Excellent teamwork, facilitation, relationship building, and negotiation skills.

Desired Qualifications:Advanced degree, e.g. Bachelors in Information TechnologyExperience in a team lead role through projects and other work planning experiencesGood understanding of IT methodologies and IT processesFamiliarity with coding languages, operating systems, and databasesStrong leadership and influence skills. Ability to work through issues independently with successful outcomesProactively identify key features, capabilities and areas of improvements needed within the productsExcellent teamwork, facilitation, relationship building, and negotiation skills.Understanding of ITIL and ITSM concepts
