Our client is seeking an experienced Labor and Employment Partner to join their dedicated team in Dallas. Their labor and employment attorneys are committed to helping clients manage their most valuable asset – their employees. They provide comprehensive legal services that address every aspect of employment-related needs, ensuring compliance, defending against litigation, and protecting their clients' business interests.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic counsel to clients on a wide range of labor and employment matters, including employee policy analysis, compliance audits, management training, and labor negotiation.
  • Lead pre-litigation strategies to minimise legal risks and manage all phases of litigation defense in federal and state courts, as well as before administrative agencies.
  • Conduct and oversee workplace and government investigations, providing comprehensive reports and strategic advice to clients.
  • Develop and implement programs to protect clients' trade secrets, relationships, and goodwill, including drafting and enforcing restrictive covenants.
  • Represent clients in complex litigation involving employment-related tort actions, wrongful discharge, and discrimination claims.

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
  • Admitted to practice law in Texas and in good standing with the State Bar.
  • Extensive experience in labor and employment law, with a proven track record of managing complex cases and providing strategic legal advice to clients.
  • Exceptional litigation and negotiation skills with significant experience in federal and state courts, as well as administrative proceedings.
  • Strong knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations, including ADA, ADEA, Title VII, FLSA, FMLA, OSHA, and state equivalents.
