About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Avera Behavioral Health Center. As a Behavioral Health Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care in our inpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient-focused care in a structured, therapeutic environment
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to address patient needs
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements
  • Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure
  • Certification in specialty encouraged
  • Membership in a professional organization encouraged
