Join our executive team as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for CableCom, LLC and Midwest Fiber Networks, where you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all financial activities to ensure the company's financial health and strategic growth. You will lead financial management, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and risk management. Your strategic insights and leadership will drive business performance and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities

  1. Financial Management
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Accounting and Finance functions, offering recommendations based on analysis and projections, cost identification and allocation, and revenue/expense analysis on a predictable monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Supervise Accounting, Finance team, Human Resources and Procurement.
  • Provide input regarding company policies, procedures, legal and safety issues/compliance.
  • Prepare annual budgets for all operating divisions.
  • Conduct annual wage structure reviews, establish budget for annual increases and approve new staffing requests and pay ranges.
  • Conduct contract reviews for various projects.
  • Manage risk and ensure financial process integrity is maintained.
  • Prepare and issue timely and accurate financial statements, consolidations and related filings.
  • Oversee corporate income tax planning and compliance.
Corporate Development
  • Lead corporate development activities, including identifying investment opportunities, driving the investment assessment, due diligence and structuring transactions.
  • Prepare business plans for new initiatives, including industry and competitive analyses, and monitor and benchmark those launched.
  • Oversee the building of financial models, conduct due diligence, negotiate deal terms, draft presentation, and secure financing for acquisitions.

Education and Certification/License Credentials

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
  • MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of progressive management accounting experience required.
  • Experience in Construction, Telecom, or Real Estate industries necessary.
  • Strong background in strategic M&A, due diligence, and integration preferred.
  • Financial statement preparation for multiple entities is required as well as experience preparing consolidations.
  • Experience overseeing human resources and payroll operations highly desired.
