Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Family Law Attorney to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law and be licensed to practice in North Carolina. This position requires handling cases involving divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, and other family-related legal matters.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, and property division.
  • Provide legal counsel and draft documents such as pleadings, motions, agreements, and orders.
  • Attend court hearings, mediations, and negotiations on behalf of clients.
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on North Carolina family law developments.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategies.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients, offering compassionate and effective legal guidance.
  • Manage multiple cases with attention to deadlines and detail.


Qualifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in North Carolina.
  • Valid membership in the North Carolina State Bar.
  • 2+ years of experience practicing family law preferred.
  • Strong understanding of North Carolina family law statutes and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
