Dermatic Health streamlines dermatology workflows to increase access, reduce costs, and improve outcomes. Our solution is deployed as a mobile app, web app, and platform that integrates with EHRs to support telederm as well as in-office visits. We enable dermatologists to scale themselves by streamlining workflows and reducing documentation burden. We empower non-specialists to triage more cases through primary care by providing clinical decision support enabled by AI. 


Job Description


You will interact directly with customers to understand and document clinical workflows and pain points in dermatology care. This interaction includes travel to customer sites and observation of work in situ. You will translate this information into user requirements and act as the voice of the customer to other teams within Dermatic. This position will collaborate closely with UX to convey requirements, show designs to customers, gather feedback, and iterate. You will research the motivations of decision makers who may not share the same motivations as users of the product. You will monitor market trends, research competitors, and influence strategy for path to market and differentiation.  This job will entail travel to customer sites to observe workflows and interact with end users. Travel may amount to 25% time at most but more likely to be around 15% in the first couple years and then taper off.


Responsibilities


  • Maintain and communicate product roadmap to both development teams and leadership
  • Identify and document user personas for communication to UX and development teams
  • Interact with customers to define requirements and understand use cases, workflow, pain points, and opportunities to support and streamline clinical workflows for dermatology
  • Collaborate with UX and engineering to prioritize features and make tradeoffs as necessary based on technical feasibility and resource constraints
  • Demonstrate designs and prototype implementations to gather customer feedback
  • Aid in documentation and communication of core product capabilities and design
  • Evangelize product vision and supporting marketing and commercial communications


Requirements


  • 5+ years of experience in a product management or UX role
  • Experience conducting user research, interviews, and knowledge elicitation
  • Experience in the healthcare industry


Preference will be given to candidates with


  • Experience in UX, human factors, and/or human computer interaction
  • Expertise in agile project management


Compensation is negotiable commensurate with level of experience. We are a startup, so equity is a large component. We have development partnerships with marquee customers. Everyone is invested both literally and figuratively.
