The EHS Specialist will be responsible for managing the day to day EHS operations and will assist with upholding existing programs as well as looking to improve in other areas
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily EHS operations across two facilities
- Conduct safety trainings
- Participate in audits
- Ensure compliance with permit requirements through effective procedures and monitoring.
- Drive emergency preparedness including drill planning and coordination with local agencies.
Qualifications:
- Holding a Bachelor’s degree in environmental, health, or safety fields preferred
- 2+ of relevant experience.
- Experienced in areas such as emergency preparedness, site security, and EHSS standards.
- Able to obtain an Industrial Class K Wastewater License and Certified Landfill Operator license.
