Job Title: Patient Access Rep
Location: Novi - MI - 26850
Duration: 2-3 Months+
Schedule: 1st Shift-part time 7am-11am
Pay Range: $17 per hour
HM for this req will do WebEx interview
*Pay rate is based on years of experience and educational qualifications.
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Patient Access Representative to serve as a liaison between our organization and our patients. In this role, you will provide product education, handle a wide variety of inquiries, and ensure a positive customer service experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary point of contact for customers and patients, addressing inquiries and providing information on products and services.
Resolve routine customer requests through inbound and outbound calls, as well as online communication.
Maintain a courteous, friendly, and professional demeanor while interacting with customers, adhering to established protocols.
Inquire, clarify, and confirm customer needs and understanding of the solutions provided.
Deliver additional customer education and information as necessary.
Qualify and establish relationships with new customers requesting our products and services.
Utilize multiple databases to research and resolve complex issues and questions.
Notify patients of test results promptly and accurately.
Review test forms for accuracy and report any discrepancies.
Provide administrative support for medical record management, CRM data maintenance, and internal record-keeping to ensure HIPAA compliance.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional customer service orientation and ability to engage courteously with clients.
Basic understanding of medical terminology used in a clinical setting.
High school diploma or equivalent experience is required; previous customer service experience is preferred. A bachelor’s degree is a plus.
0-2 years of relevant experience.
Additional Requirements:
This position involves greeting patients in the waiting room and assisting them with the check-in process using a new kiosk system.
Flu vaccination is required for this role.
Other vaccinations (T-Dap, MMR, Hep B, TB, Varicella) are not required, but a titer test will be conducted. Candidates may either receive vaccinations or decline with a declination form.
