Premier Disability Services is looking for a Medical Record Specialist to join our growing Minnesota based team Must be capable of working independently and possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written.


We are hiring for the following shift:


Full-time Position


Hours of operation are flexible, Monday-Friday 8:00am-6:00pm


Location: Brooklyn Park, MN


Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour


Responsibilities:

-Work using client management system to review client records for quality, and completeness ensuring that all necessary requirements are made for the hearing

-Use appropriate technology to request medical records while insuring security of client information.

-Assemble client file including Criteria Checklist, Medical Documents, Initial Application, most recent denial, and DDS File.

-Monitor client dates on files being reviewed to ensure that critical dates are not in jeopardy and make appropriate staff aware as needed to protect clients' case.

-Work with Assure and Contracting attorneys to ensure that they have the necessary information to attend the hearing.

-Ensure that Post Hearing summaries are submitted on time by the contracting attorneys and that Post Hearing work is completed on time.

-Other duties as required

-Assist with other Department functions as directed by Supervisor


Educational Requirements:

  • 3 months demonstrated proficiency in working with clients, SSA, and other entities on client's behalf in other departments (Intake, Application, or Case Management)
