Job Summary:

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a skilled CT & C-arm Technologist to join our team. As a CT & C-arm Technologist, you will operate your assigned scanner(s) to produce high-quality images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Imaging (90%):
    • Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contraindications, using two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure.
    • Explain and prepare patients for scanning imaging procedures and diagnostic and therapeutic injections (DTI), explaining the procedure and positioning patients for optimal imaging.
    • Perform routine and advanced scanning imaging and DTI procedures on designated portions of the body, providing patient support throughout the procedure.
    • Adjust scanning parameters correctly and as needed, utilizing dose reduction techniques as appropriate.
    • Maintain positive relationships with radiologists, referring customers, and other associates and peers.
    • Follow physicians' orders precisely and conform to safety regulations to protect patients, coworkers, and yourself.
    • Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
    • Maintain an orderly and clean work area, promoting good safety habits for patients and coworkers.
    • Maintain ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements.
    • Clean and disinfect equipment after each use.
    • Ensure compliance with all HIPAA guidelines.
  • Scanning Department Support (5%):
    • Assist with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades.
    • Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as necessary.
    • Assist with training of new associates, providing resource and technical expertise as applicable.
  • Other Tasks (5%):

Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
