Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mammographer/Radiologic Technologist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations using CT scans, X-ray and other modalities to assist in the diagnosis of patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct X-ray imaging and Mammogram procedures in accordance with physician orders and department protocol.
  • Prepare patients for radiologic/Mammogram procedures and ensure their comfort and safety during exams.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring quality control standards are met.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to interpret imaging results.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to patients' confidentiality guidelines.
  • Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols during procedures.
Requirements
  • Must be registered with AART holding RT-R and RT-M.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) holding RT-R, RT-M.
  • Previous experience as a Radiologic Technologist/Mammo Tech of more than 5 years or more is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of EHR Systems.
Qualifications
  • Must be registered with ARRT holding RT-M and RT-R.
  • Associate degree in Radiologic Technology from accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
  • High school diploma.
  • Previous experience as a Radiologic Technologist/Mammo Tech of more than 5 years or more is preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Varied activities including standing, walking, reaching, bending, lifting.
  • Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patient's manual and finger dexterity and eye hand coordination.
  • Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
  • Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 100 pounds.
  • Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal ranges.
  • Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours.
  • Exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations, and other conditions common to a hospital and/or clinic environment.
