JOB SUMMARY

Under general supervision and following established guidelines, the Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative support and coordination of day-to- day Human Resource operations. The position requires involvement with sensitive and confidential information and use of discretion and judgment. Complies with all regulations which apply within the scope of the position, including Bank Secrecy Act.


DUTIES

  • Coordinates and conducts New Employee Orientations.
  • Assists with Payroll Processing
  • Assists with the recruitment and interview process.
  • Completes verifications of employment.
  • Prepares offer letters.
  • Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9files.
  • Prepares and maintains employee files and other HR related documents.
  • Assists is following up with assigned employee training courses.
  • Assists with various audit requests
  • Produces various adhoc HR Reports as needed.
  • Assists with preparing and processing of terminations.
  • Handles employee inquiries on HR matters.
  • Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
  • Performs a wide variety of tasks in support of employment activities.
  • Assists the SVP/HR Director with HR projects.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 0 to 2 years’ experience in the HR field.


SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Medium to Advanced experience in Excel Required including V-look-up, Pivot tables, Data sorting.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese a plus.
  • Able to prioritize and plan work; adapt to changes in the work environment; manage competing demands
