Responsibilities:

  • Continuously monitor energy market trends, ensuring the company stays informed on emerging shifts and industry developments.
  • Analyze market data to identify opportunities, challenges, and trends, and use insights to guide company strategy and operations.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and assess their potential impact on the energy sector and the company's market positioning.
  • Track new legislation affecting renewable energy and communicate implications, offering strategic recommendations.
  • Integrate technical market insights into strategic planning and decision-making processes.
  • Analyze financial factors like tariffs, subsidies, and incentives to forecast their impact on future projects.
  • Assess the competitive landscape, identifying key players, strategies, and opportunities or threats for the company.
  • Provide actionable insights to refine the company's market strategy, ensuring alignment with current and future trends.
  • Support project development planning with market intelligence, ensuring alignment with trends and the evolving energy landscape.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on market intelligence, highlighting implications and suggesting strategic initiatives.
  • Engage with industry stakeholders through conferences, meetings, and forums to gather insights and enhance the company's industry presence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure coordinated market analysis and strategy development.
  • Stay abreast of new tools, methodologies, and best practices in market intelligence, ensuring the company remains competitive.
  • Identify and assess market risks, providing well-researched recommendations for risk mitigation.
  • Conduct ad hoc research to support decision-making on special topics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Science, or a related field. A Master's in Business Administration or Market Analysis is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in market intelligence, analytics, or a related field, ideally within the renewable energy sector or a similar industry.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently on projects and deliverables.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to clearly present findings and recommendations.
  • Knowledge of the regulatory and legislative landscape in the renewable energy sector.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting reports to senior leadership.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate market insights into actionable business strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience working effectively in cross-functional teams.
