We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Parts Clerk for our warehouse/depot. The Parts Clerk will be assist in the overseeing the inventory of parts, managing the ordering process, and ensuring the availability of necessary components for our operations. This role requires a candidate with organizational skills, knowledge of parts management, and the ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.

*Parts Clerk Responsibilities*



* Assist in overseeing the organization and maintenance of the parts inventory in the warehouse/depot

* Implement efficient storage and retrieval systems to optimize space and accessibility

* Be able to conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and reconcile any discrepancies

* Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of parts

* Monitor stock levels and initiate orders to prevent stockouts or overstock situations

* Foster a collaborative and safety-conscious work environment. ·

* Cultivate and maintain relationships with parts suppliers and vendors

* Be able to generate reports on parts inventory levels, order status, and usage patterns

* Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities for cost savings, and areas for process improvement

* Collaborate with management to develop strategies for optimizing parts management

* Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the integrity of parts received and stored

* Work closely with the quality assurance team to address any issues related to parts quality

* Conduct regular inspections and checks to maintain high standards of quality


*Parts Clerk Position Requirements*



* Preferred experience in parts management or a similar role within a warehouse or depot

* Knowledge of parts inventory systems and procedures

* Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards. ·

* Proficient in using relevant computer software and systems
