The Vice President of Revenue Management leads the development and execution of pricing strategies, inventory management, and overall revenue optimization across the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of market dynamics, consumer behavior, and data analytics to drive growth and profitability. The VP of Revenue Management works closely with other senior leaders, including the CFO, CCO, and Marketing, to align revenue strategies with broader business goals.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related. A master's degree is preferred. Candidates must also have 10+ years of experience in revenue management, pricing, or related fields with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Candidates should be experienced in CPG industry; a strong preference is given to candidates who have experience in food and beverage. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential in this position.
VP, Revenue Management Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive revenue management strategies to optimize pricing, distribution channels, and inventory across all business units.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and consumer behavior to inform pricing and promotional strategies.
- Oversee the design and implementation of dynamic pricing models and tools.
- Ensure optimal inventory allocation across various sales channels to maximize revenue.
- Monitor and adjust pricing strategies based on real-time data and market conditions.
- Leverage data analytics and revenue management software to drive decision-making and revenue optimization.
- Regularly review performance metrics and provide insights to executive leadership on revenue trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing revenue management team.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams to align revenue strategies with overall business objectives.
- Communicate revenue management strategies and results to stakeholders, including the executive team and board of directors.
- Contribute to the company's financial planning processes by providing revenue forecasts and budgeting inputs.
- Identify and mitigate potential revenue risks.
- Lead and manage ongoing customer trade planning and execution, establishing process and guidelines.
- Establish and deliver Trade budget across channels and customers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in revenue management, pricing, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with revenue management systems and tools.
- Proven ability to develop and implement successful revenue strategies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in CPG, food/beverage experience strongly preferred.
- Strategic thinking with a strong business acumen.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
