Job Description:

  • The IT Hardware Depot Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and deployment of IT hardware.
  • This role involves diagnosing hardware issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all equipment is functioning optimally.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.


Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair hardware issues on desktops, laptops, servers, and other IT equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on IT hardware.
  • Manage inventory of hardware components and ensure proper documentation.
  • Deploy and configure new hardware for end-users.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the depot.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Qualifications, Experience and Certifications we seek in you
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in IT-related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in IT hardware repair and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment as needed.
