Senior Training Grant Coordinator - (Student Affair Officer, Student Services Officer)


A large higher education institution is looking for a Senior Training Grant Coordinator to join their Research Administration Team within the Department of Medicine. The Grant Coordinator will manage all training grants from start to finish; they will work with fellowship grants (undergrad, grad, to post doc) to help them fill out paperwork properly. They will work on grants coming from research institutions such as the NIH. This person will assist faculty in preparation of all facets of pre-award submission process, to include budget, justification, various Sponsor forms, and related documentation in addition to internal documents. They will also assist faculty in all areas of post-award administration. They will also represent the division at departmental, School, and University research administration meetings and serve as a divisional resource for fund management and research administration training and expertise. The Coordinator will verify accuracy of funding source data used for academic funding sheets for overall division faculty in accordance with extramural agency guidelines, timelines and University policies.

Must Haves:

-Bachelor's Degree

-5+ Years of experience working with Training Grants

-Strong Math skills

-Attention to detail and multitasking

-Excel - intermediate to expert

Compensation:


$85,000 to $105,000
