Join Our Dynamic Team as a Head of Design

Are you ready to lead a high-energy, positive, and world-class team at the forefront of technology and sustainability? We’re on the hunt for an experienced design leader with a passion for innovation and excellence. As our Head of Design, you’ll provide strategic leadership, creative guidance, and hands-on design oversight to elevate our brand to new heights.

In this role, you’ll be the player/coach who drives the daily operations and creative output of a nimble design team. You’ll report to and collaborate closely with our VP of Brand & Creative, bringing projects from ideation through production across digital, video, social, print, and events. You will work collaboratively with the team to shape beautifully crafted and well-communicated campaigns that perfectly embody our brand’s voice and style.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, inspire, hire, develop and oversee the creative team.

  • Manage multiple projects from conception to completion in accordance with deadlines.

  • Distill abstract concepts and organizational needs into refined, elegant creative solutions.

  • Design unique and well-crafted assets that meet business objectives.

  • Ensure that all of the organization’s creative output/visuals are consistent with the new brand.

  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

  • Other responsibilities as needed

Skills/Requirements

  • 10+ years of related experience

  • Proven experience as a design leader or similar role with strong supervisory, people management, and leadership skills

  • Hands-on experience in creative process, marketing, graphic design and brand development

  • Demonstrated knowledge of design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma etc.

  • Outstanding leadership, interpersonal and organization skills

  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically, providing marketable solutions in conceiving, developing, and producing tactics and visual design
