Facilitating and participating in staff development, including orientation and training. Participating in performance evaluation and management including verbal coaching and counseling. Participating in the development and/or revision of patient care standards and pathways. Improving patient outcomes through application of evidence-based findings to advance nursing practice. Developing patient and staff education materials and serves as a consultant for patient and staff education needs. Proactively identifying areas of concern and collaborates with the health care team to problem solve and find solutions. Promoting unit specific certifications and advances in education, and participation in the clinical advancement program. What you will need Required: Graduation from an accredited nursing program BSN required. MSN preferred. Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse.
