Join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals at Trinity Health as a RN Clinical Coordinator. This role is a key member of the surgery department, responsible for the direct and indirect care of patients in various specialties.
Responsibilities:- Precepting and mentoring staff in the application of the nursing process to plan and manage patient care.
- Providing clinical teaching and supervision, directing the most appropriate patient assignment for new and experienced staff.
- Facilitating and participating in staff development, including orientation and training.
- Participating in performance evaluation and management, including verbal coaching and counseling.
- Improving patient outcomes through the application of evidence-based findings to advance nursing practice.
- Developing patient and staff education materials and serving as a consultant for patient and staff education needs.
- Proactively identifying areas of concern and collaborating with the healthcare team to problem-solve and find solutions.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- BSN required, MSN preferred.
- Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 5 years of specialty-specific experience in surgery.
