In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and operations of assigned commercial properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and financially sound. Our team is inspired by the relationships they cultivate with property owners. The property management team is proud of the work they do; they help protect an owner's assets, maintain property cashflows, facilitate tenant relations and ultimately, be worthy of each owner's trust.
What You Get to Do
  • Implement management plans for assigned properties.
  • Cultivate positive relations with our Property Management Team, property owners, business tenants, and vendors by maintaining a great, can-do attitude.
  • Proactively inspect properties as per the management plan.
  • Negotiate lease renewals.
  • Prepare annual operating budgets, NNN projections and reconciliations.
  • Prepare comprehensive monthly report narratives and financial reports for property owners.
  • Review and approve accounts payable.
  • Ensure timely rent collection and manage defaults or legal remedies.
  • Negotiate contracts for building services and monitor contractors' performance.
  • Supervise after-hours emergency on-call services.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring
  • A minimum of one year of experience in commercial property management
  • Oregon Real Estate Property Manager or Broker License (or become licensed as a Property Manager within 6 months of employment)
  • Strong financial management and budgeting skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem-solving aptitude and ability to resolve conflicts
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Detail-oriented, analytical
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, DropBox, and property management software (preferably Appfolio)
  • Passion for the work you do and the people you do it with
